When we talk about seo, two things should come to your mind, keyword research and back links.
Keywords are the search terms people will normally type on search engines to find your product or brand. You can think about them or use Google tool known as Google keyword planner. For example someone like me who is running a Christian blog, I normally go in for keywords such as daily devotional, the new life in Christ, Christian growth, Christian living. You will have to find your own, if you can't think of them, then ask Google to help you by using Google keyword planner.
Back links, these are links linking back to your blog or website. There exist two types, internal (back links found within your blog) and external back links commonly known as inbound or incoming links, these are links from other blogs back to your blog.

That is all about seo. Don't go into email or comment spam, this will end you a penalty on Google. Be patience, give your blog or website some time to age. If you get too much back links in such a short notice after your site is created, it will be penalized by Google.
